Thank you for visiting our website and taking an interest in our Club, our members and our wonderful collection of Veteran, Vintage and Classic vehicles.
Founded in 1969, the Eastern Province Veteran Car Club has a long and proud history in Port Elizabeth and the Eastern Cape. We are a group of enthusiasts brought together by a shared passion for motoring, history and the preservation of the vehicles of yesteryear.
Our aim is to encourage the acquisition, use, restoration, preservation, maintenance and exhibition of Veteran, Vintage and Classic motor vehicles, while ensuring that these fascinating pieces of our motoring heritage are enjoyed and appreciated by generations to come.
But the EPVCC is about much more than cars.
It is about the people, friendships, stories and memories that go along with them. Whether you own a beautifully restored veteran, a cherished classic, an American or European favourite, a customised vehicle, a motorcycle, or simply have an enthusiasm for anything with wheels and a story to tell, you are welcome at the EPVCC.
Every old vehicle has a story. Some remind us of our childhood, some of a first car, a family holiday or a special person, while others represent an important chapter in the development of motoring.
Whether a cherished memory or a chapter in the history of motoring, we believe these stories and vehicles are worth preserving.
The EPVCC maintains historical, statistical and technical records of vehicles, together with an up-to-date membership register reflecting vehicles currently owned by our members.
Through our members' enthusiasm and knowledge, we help preserve not only the vehicles themselves, but also the history and heritage surrounding them.
We encourage our members to find, restore, maintain, preserve and enjoy these old treasures, and to share their knowledge and experiences with others.

A big part of belonging to the EPVCC is simply getting together and enjoying our shared passion.
The Club organises and promotes competitions, trials, outings, displays and other events in which Veteran, Vintage and Classic vehicles can participate. These occasions provide an opportunity to get the vehicles out of the garage, meet fellow enthusiasts, exchange stories and technical advice, and enjoy the camaraderie that makes the old-car movement so special.
Clubhouse open from 16h30 for a relaxed "noggin and natter" - catch up with friends, talk cars and enjoy good company.
Themed vehicle shows at the Club, many open to the public - a wonderful opportunity for visitors to see our members' vehicles.

These events celebrate the wonderful variety of vehicles within our motoring heritage and offer something for everyone - from the serious enthusiast to the casual visitor who simply enjoys seeing beautiful old vehicles.
Membership of the Eastern Province Veteran Car Club is open to all like-minded people who share our love of Veteran, Vintage, Classic, Customised and other vehicles and motorcycles of motoring interest.
You don't necessarily have to own a concours-winning classic - or even own an old vehicle at all. Enthusiasm is what matters most.
Whether you are an experienced collector, a restorer working on your first project, someone who remembers these cars from years gone by, or simply someone who enjoys the sound, character and craftsmanship of old vehicles, we would love to welcome you.
And, just as importantly, bring your family and friends along. The enjoyment of our motoring heritage is something that is even better when shared.
For more than five decades, the EPVCC has brought together people who care about preserving and enjoying the vehicles of the past.
Our hope is that we can continue doing so for many years to come - preserving our motoring heritage, sharing knowledge, making new friendships and creating new memories along the way.
